PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL SERVICES FOR FUNERALS AND MEMORIALS IN THE NEW HAVEN, CT, AREA

Encore Music Creations offers professional musical services for funerals and memorials. Our organist, Brett Judson, has extensive experience as a church musician in a variety of denominations and musical environments, and he can provide musical selections sensitive to client needs. Our tenor, Scott Perkins, has international experience as a soloist in a variety of styles. You may click below on this page to hear his voice. 

Our funeral/memorial organist fee of $200 includes the following music by our organist:

  • Ten minutes of prelude music from our standard selections for organ or piano
  • Accompaniments for hymns and liturgical music during the service
  • Recessional music from our standard selections for organ or piano

Special requests beyond our standard selections are available at extra cost, including expenses for securing legal copies of necessary music scores. The standard fee does not include rehearsals with soloists provided by families. Accompaniment for soloists may be provided for an additional fee of $50, which includes up to 30 minutes of rehearsal. Transportation costs for travel beyond 30 minutes from downtown New Haven, CT, will be added to the standard fee. 

Our professional tenor is available as a soloist, with or without one of our organists. His fee is $150 for two standard vocal selections. Special requests may be available at extra cost. To hear a sample recording of Scott´s voice, please click one of the following titles:

Payment is due at the time of the service, in the form of a check made out to “Encore Music Creations.”

You may contact us to discuss musical wishes or to ask us for a proposal of instrumental and/or vocal selections beyond hymns selected by families in consultation with clergy or funeral directors. We wish to serve our clients with beautiful music for challenging times.
