Encore Music Creations has moved audiences at venues ranging from cathedrals and country churches to private homes in the United States and abroad, sharing music from classical, sacred, and jazz traditions. A concert attendee praised an Encore performance in Maine as “a magnificent mélange of instruments and song that stirred the depths of everyone present.” Combining the skills and artistic visions of its members, Encore draws from centuries of musical expressions in impassioned performances and teaching. Based in Greater Sacramento, CA, Encore has traveled across half of Norway and given a series of well-received concerts in New England and throughout the US. A Norwegian critic stated: “[Encore] reached the audience and received great and well-deserved applause. Encore means “once more.” We look forward to not one, but many more times!”

Encore’s members, all graduates of the Eastman School of Music, are: Scott Perkins, composer and singer; Brett Judson, organist, choral conductor, and pianist; and Lars Gjerde, organist and pianist. Encore offers piano and voice lessons, coaching for church musicians and other professionals, choir and hymn festivals, and publishes music by Scott Perkins. The company is preparing to release Scott’s sacred choral music on Gothic Records later this spring.
